As title cheers

Looking to upgrade my 2 x 1080p monitors in my home studio to 2 x 1440p Dells.

No gaming just DAW windows etc..

:)

Do they both have to be displayport, why can't one be DVi or HDMI.
You could also look at a displayport splitter I think.
Andi.

Just buy one with a DP and DL-DVI as cheap as possible and buy a startech DP to DL-DVI lead. They cost about £15 and the GPU should be around £30, so done job at £45

Go Gregster spec me...;):)

Looks like my expectations for a DL-DVI and a DP connector were massively under priced sorry bud. I even looked at the second hand market but no joy. Take Rich's advice and get a HDMI to DL-DVI, as checking up, so long as it is HDMI 1.4, you will be able to do 60Hz at 1440P.

And a +1 for any StarTech product. I had similar problems and the cheaper connectors simply didb't work. Never had a problem with a StarTech product though.
