My kids old school banded birthday cakes, to many children with allergies. It didn't bother me much.

Why the #### would you send a child in to school with a cake on their birthday anyway? Like the teachers have time to sort it out.

Save that #### for birthday parties that , you know, the parents of the child are in charge of.

Can't say I ever remember having cake at school on someones birthday, or taking cake in on my birthday. But be new thing.

We did get a lollipop off the headteacher during assembly in first school though. I bet lollipops are banned now too.
