Email account being used by third party?

Hi all, hoping for an idea of what to do. I received an email advising that my plex account is nearly ready and to verify my email address, except I haven't made one!

I requested a reset password link on the plex site to check if it's genuine and I have received one.

I can't see any contact details for plex so what do I do now. I don't want to reset the password and login as it may contain private information of the third party, but there's no way to contact Plex. Any ideas?

Someone probably put in a wrong email by mistake when setting it up

Yes, I get this all the time as I have <firstinitial><commonish surname>@gmail.com and for some reason people seem to get confused. I receive everything from bank details to hotel bookings. It's really annoying.

Yeah I don't think it's any malicious, likely a genuine mistake. Do I just ignore it though, I don't like the idea of logging into the account myself and no way to contact Plex from what I can see.

Someone typed incorrect email. Someone in the states uses my email address for their Amazon account and i now can access their account including placing orders or wiping devices remotely.

Don't know whether this will help, Bromhead? It's a link to the Plex site, and has contact details for them.

I did see that page, I don't particularly want to create an account, but I'll fire off an email to the two email addresses to see if I get any reply, even though it states they don't provide support maybe they can help.
