it really is. You can find a good spot in hardcore and never move out of it because there's no kill cam and no mini map. at least if somebody camps in core you know where you were shot from and go back and kick them out of their spot !

Those comments aren't usually said about people legitimately defending an area of the map they control. Its people camping around a flag they don't have in the attempt to shoot people who go near it. We see it all the time. Moving around B but never actually capturing it. They usually have 20k + kills and 200 career captures.

Exactly and it is frustrating when they are on either team. I had a game last night where they were all on my team. At no point in the entire match did any of my team mates step foot on B. I capped B at the beginning of the first half so we won it 100-52 but as they capped it at the start of round 2 and it took so many attempts to get it back we won 200-180. I just don't get it, if you just want to kill people there is tdm or ffa. If there wasn't those modes I could understand people playing tdm in objective games but there is. To make matters worse it is all for a k/d which no-one can really see and then to make things even worse, these players are usually the one that go negative anyway :mad:

On a side annoying note which I realised last night, if you unlock a dark ops killer medal you don't get the ones underneath it. So, for example, if you get a Chain killer (9 or more rapid kills) you don't also unlock Ultra killer (8 kills), Mega Killer (7 kills) etc at the same time. So you have get them individually so are we supposed to be like - "OMG 8 rapid kills and wait there is someone else there but don't worry I can't kill you as I have my 9 rapid kills so don't need that medal again".

But it's easier killing people who are going for the objective. Just camp near a flag and kill anybody that goes for it. That's why people do it and it's the sole reason I avoid objective game modes.

Yeah I understand the logic of it is easier to get kills. It is the desire (for lack of a better term) behind that logic. I don't understand why people consider k/d as this holy grail of a thing that they must have a good k/d which no-one can see. Even more so when most of them seem to be rubbish - is it that much better to have a 0.8 k/d in domination over 0.5 k/d in tdm? What is the point of having a good k/d if all your other stats like win / loss or SPM are terrible?

Playing objective modes to camp and not play objectives is no different to boosting really. It is just a way to artificially increase your k/d for no gain.
 
Also double Crypto keys weekend for what its worth. I have 600 already saved up incase they add new guns, I'm not interested in the new melee weapons.
 
Still absolutely hate people who don't try capture on Domination. Especially on Combine, I'm capturing B to at lead hold the win if we keep it, team just runs on through or doesn't attempt to shoot anyone that's running at the person capturing. Just had a game with 16 captures, highest on my team (only two people captured anything else) had 2. Infuriating. Even worse after prestige and none of the attachments I want as well :p
 
I reduse to play dom with randoms because 99% of them are dribbling retards. Sometimes I wonder how these people manage to expand and contract their lungs without killing themselves. I've seen people get killed 11 (yes, 11, I counted them) times by a Wraith. Did they try shoot it down? Of course not, simply respawn and run outside. People who will run right past a flag which is in the middle of being capped only to go to the other side of the map. Not people trying to flip spawns either, I could roll with that, but just running to the other side to die again. CoD really does attract braindead people.

Yup, I mean it annoys me getting negative KD's, but I'd much rather win the games than go for a 3+ KD ratio. Especially if its Domination, the amount of games where my team don't hit treble figures is ridiculous because of people not capturing. Especially those who run straight through the ones at the start of the round, even worse when they don't even go for the middle flag after doing this.
 
Domination can be annoying like that. I quite like safeguard in ground war. You only get 50 scorestreak points for kill whoring and not playing the objective and most of the time players seem to make some effort to ptfo. Good for gun camos.

If others ignore the objective I tend not to bother so much anymore.

To be fair on the few occasions I play domination, I might not get many captures even if I've been trying. Maybe other people just die loads like me. :p

Oh no, i'll allow that - but you can see on the mini map the ones that don't attempt it, or run straight through those capturing and the one capturing (usually me) gets killed :p

Edit: without fail, if I leave a lobby that re-votes for Combine, it then connects me straight into another Combine game straight after :(

I only play on the weekends, and my first 8-10 games are always awful. Can't aim for **** today, although I'm trying to level up the SVG, so i'm struggling with that :p

Sounds just like me. There is something seriously wrong with this game. I don't know what the issue is but it needs fixing. One game I'm fine and the next I'm dead before I can react. This just shouldn't be happening from one game to the next.
 
I've been having issues with my internet the past few days as it keeps cutting out. Whenever it does I get a "lost connection to host" message NOT a "lost connection to server" message. This says to me that there IS still a lobby host. As I've said before I think this is the problem.
