What would have happened if our men had just downed tools and left our homeland in previous wars. Why are all these young men not staying and defending their country and their families. This is not right at all. We are a very small country and there are other lands with more space. Why come here?

How can people be so ignorant of the fact that the country is fractured and for many there just isn't a side they would fight for - in some cases betrayed by their own government or at risk of abuse by the government and finding many of the rebel factions little better than IS.

I'm not convinced they're all doctors and engineers, tho.

And we all know by now the % of refugees is actually quite low. Most of them are economic migrants. Many from North Africa, Pakistan, etc. Not exclusively from war-torn areas either.

I'm not sure why they (or Corbyn) expect food, doctors and education, having decided to congregate in a foreign country in what amounts to a field next to a busy port.

If I flew to the middle of the Australian desert, and then started complaining about the lack of food, doctors or education, most people would have little sympathy for me.

And the majority of these people were dancing in the streets expressing their joy when 9/11 happened etc etc.
Now that it has fallen apart around them..........
THEY WANT A BIT OF THE WEST THAT THEY WERE SO HAPPY WAS BEING ATTACKED BY THEIR MUSLIM BROTHERS IN ARMS WHO ARE NOW KILLING THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES!!

Yep. And with the assaults of women in Germany, the mugging of the reporter in Calais and many more incidents, they have proven to everyone that they do not possess the required morality or behaviour to live in a western (European) society.

Every time Europe have seen a terrorist attack or a Cologne incident, it shows just how dangerous the left is. I'm with the OP that illegals shouldn't be getting in, and they should be vetted via the asylum process.
