***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

hackers are back and been annoying, just got to about 60 checkpoints collected for the freemode event then sumone kicked me out just before i won. Im suspecting it was the guy in second place. about 40 checkpoints behind.

Good run yesterday, the rescue attempt would have been epic if we had nailed it :p Bag and I jumped from the bike and opened chutes at near enough the same time, I got caught in his, hit a tree, landed hard, then proceeded to continue sliding down the hill until I died :o

Apologies also for jumping from the Kuruma on the second attempt, proper derpy moment :D

Not to worry, I thought you were going to die for a moment there. Glad the chute opened ok :D

Need to get my KD ratio up, going to have to go on a bit of a rampage later and go on a killing spree. I'm certainly not going to be popular later :)

Usually I only go after bounties or attack in revenge.

Haha I've been practicing timed runs up that mountain in a Kuruma and it's become second nature to bail out once you've jumped it :p

Maybe we can spread criminal mastermind over 2 nights. Do 1-3 tonight, and 4-5 tomorrow night. If we mess up on PB, then we have time to restart and at least finish PB. But hopefully do humane as well. Anyone up for this tonight?

Yep, of course :)

Splitting over two days is also a good idea tbh

However I think we need some mastermind safety tactics....

Feel free to add to/remove

PB

Kuruma in final

Humane labs

All in one car for Valkyrie

Series A

Use the highway, not a scratch on mt truck, even if we were a little bit tight on time :p

Steal Meth
All take cars to O'neils

Pacific Standard

Signal
Kuruma to collect Avi

Convoy
Destroy the truck if the armed Insurgent is unavailable.

(also I was able push forward to clear up to the lorry road block in my car and had a clear shot on the chopper without any Merryweather.

Most of all.... don't let me drive if it is important.... :D

Oh and don;t die :)

I would be up for that definitely! :)

What time are you thinking for starting? I am aiming to finish work at 5pm, get home by 5:30, dinner and online by 18:30/19:00.

7pm sounds good. Should have the first 3 done by 11pm which is very civilised.

On the Pac Standard yesterday, the swapping of the equipment went a bit pear shaped. My bullet proof car spawned with no windows so I was basically a sitting duck and then we all found out if you restart, you don't get your cars! Just goes to show how much reliance you put on the Kuruma and myself and Bagpuss found out just how tough that car is on our 20 shop robbery run. After we get crim master done, I'd like to go through some heists without an armoured car just for the thrill of doing it "for real". Set-ups like the O'Niells farm would be very interesting if we had to think about it and employ some ground force tactics. I've seen people do it on you tube where they don't use the Kuruma. I think my skills in that department are lacking and that would be a real test. I'm not saying go in wearing a pair of speedos and nothing else, take your 10 sets of armour and use them as that's part of the game. But the Kuruma does make it easy and you don't really learn anything from it. Also I'd like to do some more survival games as well as they are good for learning, especially on my new character.

I have started doing my solo missions on foot again as I have defiantly become to reliable on the Kuruma and losing combat skills.

However we did do Vans without them last night and that went very well.

The armored cars I have found to be useless. I have a fully upgraded Schafter V12 and the glass is totally useless. Just as well use a normal car....

I would love to do the heists as they should be done again, I have been doing the modified way for too long lol

Missions etc I am starting to do them without the Karuma as it makes it harder, and also because it takes longer = more RP and money

7pm ftw then :)

Lester says it all on the Fleeca job, "an idiot proof car". Gets to the stage where that's all you got. I find I'm great at head shot kills with a micro smg from the car and then you get out and take 3 x as many bullets to kill someone with an assault rifle. Yep, lets do criminal mastermind and then get back to basics. Probably have a lot more fun as well!

This

My SMG headshot ratio just demonstrates how reliant you can become on it. 10254 kills 9184 headshots

Is there a chance we can use team speak or in game voice this evening? I just think it will give us an additional edge.

I can use teamspeak if someone PMs me details.

Actually did a few missions out of the car and in first person with my new character and only died once! Quite like first person, might use it more often though driving the Kuruma is hard cos of the armour. But then again, who cares, it's a Kuruma. Used the Lost MC bikes as the getaway which is also fun in first person. Actually think bikes are easier to drive in first person.

I did Titan of a job first person the other day as well. Really good challange and loads of fun...

Not sure about a server as I have no idea where one is available LOL

I'm up for the mastermind if there is space available.

I have the TS server details that we are using, Guru is the host of that server so I can send it via a PM but the login info must not be posted publicly.

Don't think you can PM here, but I will give you the info via the rockstar social club PM.

Would also like to do the heists without the kuruma for a change, that car does make it far to easy.
