I purchased mayhems blitz basic, and ran it as per the instructions, and, as expected the results came up clean and good as you would expect, but the tubing still looked slightly off clear.

So, had a think what other products after "crystal clear" results... well dishwasher tabs.

Ran down asda and picked up some of these:

Well after 15 minutes of being in there... this is the difference... on the left is 15 minutes, on the right is one ive just put in.

Am going to leave both to run for a full hour and report back.

I dont understand:

Did you just put the tablets into the fluid we saw in the top picture? If so, the tablets really cleared the colour away fast!

Or did you put deionised water and a tablet in there? If so, the resideue from the mayhems is quite significant

I completely dont understand what your trying to show us...:confused::confused:

The top picture was what it looked like filled with the coolant, there is no picture of the post Mayhems Blitz treatement with just water, then the last picture is the loop refilled with water and a dishwasher tab dropped in and that is the amount of residue it's lifted off even after using Blitz.

That's how I understand it, the Blitz treatment left it looking pretty clean but it seems still left a lot of crap in/on the tubes.

Well the results are in, the pipes for the second loop look brand new.

A word of warning, fortunately the way I had my loop at the time meant the drainport was open but raised.

After 30 mins or so when the "powerball" section dissolved it caused a use amount of water to spurt out, so if you plan on doing this, make sure you have an open pipe somewhere leading to a bucket or drain so the pressure buildup wont cause issues.

Am now draining and refilling several times before going to blitz it again to get rid of any potential leftover chemicals from the dishwasher tab.

time to sort loop 1.

And now with the new coolant:

to be honest, the picture looks better than in person, I was hoping for a more, blue look but its kind of an off-green color in person.
