eBay mistake - Anyone in Ilford?

Provide the tracking number against the eBay case he has opened with a scan/photo of the postage receipt and it's no more your problem. What courier and service you have used?

As long as you ship to the registered address on paypal you have done your bit

Ebay will always find in your favour, I know I have done it a few ties and won them both

Im the seller. My original question is being able to contact the building the parcel has been delivered to, so I can get it picked up

It stated quite clearly in the rules that in order to be eligible for Seller Protection you have to send to the registered address. If the address you sent it to is different then you're not covered.

Its something you really should have picked up on before you sent it.

The shipping address and the address paypal give you shouldn't be different? It is a single checkout process.

It may not be the primary registered paypal address, but it will still have seller protection associated with it. You can have multiple addresses on ebay/paypal.

edit:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/seller... between eBay and PayPal. Which one do I use?

The buyer has conflicting addresses between eBay and PayPal. Which one do I use?
If there is a conflict between addresses listed on the PayPal "transaction details" page and the eBay "view order details" page, we'll consider sellers to have met their shipping obligations under eBay Money Back Guarantee if they choose either address.

I wouldn't be so sure the OP is in the clear just yet. He's likely to win the eBay case against him however if the seller goes to PayPal next they're going to want proof it was sent to the PP registered address. Ebay might give you 'protection' whichever address you use but ultimately it is PayPal who have the power to remove money from your account.

OP is fine as long as he provides proof he sent it to one of the buyers addresses - its the fault of the buyer for not updating his details properly.

Send them the tracking/receipt and it will become his problem.

Highly doubtful the Concierge would have a direct external phone number, they would be on an internal phone system for the residents only.

The concierge in my building have an external number, I can never find it online though. I doubt many apartments are internal phone systems only, people aren't forced to have a phone nowadays and even if they did it would be directly connected to BT not some internal system.
