The Division - Specs released from Russian UBI site

Well after watching a number of videos/details it looks disappointing on what they have taken out and the reduction of detail in world compared to before. Textures look horrible, lighting and reflection details awful and the lose of other key features they were selling at E3 before just seems to show what a mess it is.

It's like the hi res pack on rainbow six that make zero difference. All the details are poor flat textures and there just isn't the detail that the maps that are let's be honest small.

This will be the same.

i have my beta key, but dont think i will be able to play it, i got 2mb connection, so thats 200kb/s, for a 40Go client, to 3 day beta, with download only available 48h before the beta, they could have at leastreleased the client a week early, or make the beta a week long.

ahhh thats ok you can give it to me lolz

anyways how dod u get a beta key? pre order?

Being lazy, I've only scanned through this thread quickly but I am guessing the snowdrop engine is being used on The Division. I kinda like the look of it and the ideas behind it all but not too sure I like all the decals, stats, and whatever above peoples heads and all over the screen as it seems to kill the imersiveness for me. I hope this feature can be toggled on/off and I will probably wait for the forum users reviews before considering it. Anyway I wont be here tomorrow as I'm off on the adventure of a lifetime with a certain Ms Croft and doing a bit of rising, raiding and tombing. Well hopefully, as I have heard AMD cards not supposed to be fairing too well. However, I will give it a go and report back any issues or lack of them if and when I stumble over them.

I do hope you all enjoy The Division as the idea of it all sounds great and appeals to me. I just hope it isn't another Watchdogs.
:)

Couple of quick snaps @ 1600p ultra. Using the latest nvidia drivers etc. My 970 is DYING at these settings though

AB seems to ruin the game and make it unplayable. It looks pretty sweet at ultra. Not sure if I'm a fan or not though. I thought it was going to be a lot more tactical than it is. Seems a bit too much of a run in and shoot people kinda thing.

well the beta is here...
first off glad that it wasn't downgraded too much or poorly ported like it was for watch dog, surprinsingly i kinda liked the game, graphics are nice, lighting is good, optimisation is good, still some bugs roaming around, but that a beta, honestly i saw a lot of potential in it, then after couple hours got bored out of my mind, the game offers a solo-coop map with few quests, the multiplayer map you explore it in about 20 min, some other features limited like HQ upgrade, other not there at all like craft.
so i honestly dont know what to think when a game can't even get you through a 3 day beta, did they cut the game TOO Much, or is the content of the game doesnt allow them to show more, either way this doesn't look good to me, my expectation for the game longivity(from the size of the map) ranks about 5-7h solo-coop, maybe 10h with all side quests, and another 10-20h for multiplayer, i hope am wrong, and i hope they didnt cut parts of the game to make DLCs out of them.
if anyone tested it also feel free to share what you think of it.

I get good performance but it is destroyed by some kind of memory leak.

VRAM is all eaten up (3GB on SLI 780Tis) and then physical memory is drained until the OS is paging....then it's a stuttery unplayable mess.

funny didnt get that bug, but as soon as i read your post that was the first thing i loged into, but the memory leak went away when i ported to the dark zone, beside SLI on a game still in developement you are looking for trouble :p

Around 40fps for me in a lot of situations at 3440x1440p and ultra settings on my 980Ti 5930k build. Around 30fps on Nano build... Apparently the devs had stated this build would not be great at 4k. Not sure if this is true just what someone told me on the steam forums.
