Wow... such a big discount on a great piece of kit. I'm almost tempted to buy it! It would be perfect if not for... just 1 DisplayPort input. If it had a HDMI too and perhaps audio pass-through (solves a lot of issues), then this would literally be the best thing ever. But for now, it's close.

Shouldn't the picture advertising a high-end monitor be better resolution

Yes indeed, just when this one was setup this is what was available and this screen is now EOL so we expect it to be sold out soon, as such no point in updating and we have sold 1100 units so I think it is OK. :)

Went through x4 of these on the rainforest due to BLB and/or dirt under the panels on every one. Wouldn't touch one at half this price now. Abominable excuse for a monitor... unless you win the lottery and get a good one. I hear this can happen if you sacrifice a wild animal to the Gods on the eve of the summer solstice... but your timing must be EXACT.

Mine is a good one. But as you say, the chance of that happening is less than winning the Lottery.

Most can't afford 21:9 G-Sync. So overpriced it's silly.
all g-sycnh is overpriced though. This is practically an end of life sale where even with £190 removed you could still do far better on freesynch. You can get 4k for cheaper than 1440p.

or get two improvements and get it 4k and ips for less still

Don't think g-synch is really a common sense purchase but people can get what they want of course.

And to think it's still £500 lol.

Yeah i just saw this and was kicking myself until i saw that it just had 1 DisplayPort,

I'll keep an eye out for the Predator XB271HU instead

Don't all G-Sync monitors have a single display port? I might have made that up but thought it was the case.
