Injury Claim canceled?

I'm happy for you to work for an employer who would keep signing your paychecks for months even if you weren't at work.

Still, I think it is unacceptable that we cannot have accidents anymore, it's always somebody else's fault. We can't just accept an apology and move on.

So who should pay your mortgage if you get run over by somebody who is insured for just that eventuality!?

So therefore you don't need a claims company. These companies exist based on the back of fraud. The real bad side of our country.

oh I see, yeah those claims companys charge an absolute fortune back to the insurance companys. I went through one once, the money they wanted to charge for my hire car I could have hired a Ferrari for the week. When it went to court because the insurance company wouldn't pay I asked them for the breakdown of the costs and they were charging all sorts for stuff like wear and tear, sat nav and various admin fees.

Are you completely serious? Who is meant to pay the bloody bills this guy most likely has/had to pay while he cannot/couldn't work because of injuries caused by somebody else whether it's an accident or not. If insurance isn't for covering legitimate claims like this what the hell is it for?

No one is getting sued though. The insurer of the 3rd party will pay the compensation won't they (or it'll be recouped from them)? The accident management company just handles the claim.

You didn't read a word I said, did you. I said use your insurance. I said don't sue somebody else.

Why would you use your own insurance and end up with a claim on your own account when you can legitimately claim it against the third party insurer as the OP is doing?

You were told to attend all medical examinations but you didn't.

Does the contract state they'll recoup costs if you fail to follow up on their requests?

Sounds all pretty cut and dry if it does.

This really, your not a doctor or a solicitor. Your solicitor told you to go to a doctor they are paying so they have a report form a expert witness to give to the courts. You took it on your self not to go so the claim can not be processed and I assume you will be liable for all costs so far.
