I hope they cut themselves whilst removing it and get sepsis.

I swear I hear about it happening on these a lot more often than other hot hatches.. I wonder what it is about them?
 
Commonish car, pretty easy to rip off, and worth £150 on the bay.

Sorry to see you've fallen foul of scum, and with the damage to clear up too. Are you going to push for new wings/respray through insurance?

Prices are nearing £250+ now and mine had an aftermarket splitter on top of that also.

Wings etc will need fixing too, thankfully excess isn't too high for me these days.
 
Sorry to see this, my mate owned a fiesta zetec s from new like yours, it had the bumpers stolen 3 times before he left it locked in my garage (he only had street parking) until it sold. Disgusting. Trouble is, now they know its there, they will keep returning.

Be a shame if there was an electrical short caused by the damage, meaning the car bodywork became live... ;)

Standard bumper however it had aftermarket splitter fitted and also some very identifiable damage. Behind the numberplate was also drilled out for track use so if it comes up for sale or I see it about it will be easily identifiable as mine.
 
If it's like the one in your sig, then the holes in the plate recess and the splitter will make it stand out a mile too.

mk6 fiesta ST's are such a common target. there are so many young drivers with bog standard small engined mk6 fiesta all looking to fit the ST parts to make theirs look better. paranoid this is going to happen to the other half's ST.
gutted for you, definitely keep an eye on gumtree/ebay/pre-loved etc.
 
This is very common around the Essex and Luton areas for some reason...

TBH Ford could help matters by designing the ST and RS panels/bumpers so that they don't fit on the standard cars. Then there would be no point in the chavs stealing them.
