Hi im looking to buy a new wardrobe for a master bedroom, ideally 2-3 doors wide with drawers but want to spend under £200 quid. Diy is fine so flat pack is okay, i just don't want something that will collapse in 2 weeks time but i am not expecting solid oak either.

can anyone provide any recommendations?

I saw a decent one in homebase the other day. They currently have a sale on furniture with an extra 20% off or something. Looked decent for under 200.

K pax it is then! Shame they don't seem to have much of a sale at ikea.

I did see the homebase stuff and malibu caught my eye but some reviews say naff quality. Plus I'm pretty sure they share many ranges with argos.

Stuff like PAX is never in the sale, the range just constantly evolves over time and is fully modular.

Had 3 PAX wardrobes recently, two of the normal height and 1 of the 2M high ones. One has been dismantled and rebuilt 3 times and is still fine. You can spec them to be as cheap or as expensive as you like.

We're going with Pax in our walk in wardrobe. So many options.

Oh, and don't bother with the shallow depth ones or the corner unit if you can avoid using them. The shallow units are ok if you really don't have the depth, but the corner units take up so much space but have sod all storage space in them as they're designed to work with both depths of unit.

You can always find them online second-hand too. My mrs likes older solid wood furniture and looks through house clearances as well as auctions. It's all 'shabby-chic' stuff. It's beyond me but she and her cronies turn up some real bargains.
