US: The X-files Season 10

Awesome episode. Surprised they could actually get their lines out with their tongues stuck so far into their cheeks.

Loved how Mulder was placing flowers on the grave of Kim Manners. Nice touch that.

Wasn't sure about ep 1 but ep 2 and 3 sold me. Great humour, great rally between both agents, just how I remember back in the day. You can tell Gillian Anderson enjoys it and fits right in. Gotta be refreshing after playing the role in Hannibal for a long stretch.

I just finished watching Hannibal and I bet she's glad to be able to speak normally again - her constant whisper drove me up the wall :D

ep 1003 I was quite disappointed with it. There was some realy bad scenes and that actor who played the monster was terrible.

Agree. It's trying to tick all the boxes in each episode. Conspiracy, aliens, folklore/monsters and the humour. Gunmen of the apocylipse, cigarette smoking man and then some revelation about Foxes sister and or Mulder/Scully's son would be my guess for the next three.

Saying that S10E03 was one for the fans but given we only have 6 episodes this season I would have liked for them to have gotten on with it.

I would have killed for a particular scene in that episode when I was a teenager ;)

Quite the opposite, i thought the episode was fantastic, really happy to see the X files are doing some lighthearted episodes and not just serious conspiracy big picture stuff.

And how dare you speak poorly of Rhys Darby, he's awesome!
He's a famous stand up comedian and has played a fair few comedy roles, most famously Murray in Flight of the Conchords.

It was a good and ok episode for the legacy fans but I feel for new fans its the kind of episode a series throws in during mid season 2 just to get away from the serious stuff. When your doing a very short 6 part mini series its kind of an episode waster in a way.

Only 6 episodes in the season and one in three already wasted for very x-filish but redundant self contained nonsensical "twilight" filler ep just for the sake of it? How odd...

The artist was giving it life, he was responsible, which was the theme for the whole episode. So as soon as he left there was nothing there to bring it to life.

But it was still on the wall, didn't that mean it was still lurking??

Thats what i was wondering about as it was still there, also what were the things that were roaming the hallways in the same building as the artist? And what was the story with the Bin Lorry? Some obliging bin lorry driver taking him back and forth with dead bodies in the rear?

It was obvious that the painting on the wall was a symbol that it was there waiting for the next time it's needed.

Yeah the bin lorry didn't make sense either unless it was supernatural in nature as well?

Today's episode (5) was painful to watch. Worst of the whole season/saga. I hope the last episode is about how the aliens have replaced Mulder with Hank Moody.
