The Witness [PS4 - 26th January]

The best non spoiler advice I could give is to explore, if you come across a puzzle and you have no idea how to deal with the shapes inside it keep looking around as there is a tutorial for everything.
 
Spending hours on this, and I am nowhere near the end - I spent hours in the swamp... This game is very hard at times.

Once you work it out you are like, ah why didnt I think of that sooner..

Good game. But you will sink hours into it.
 
I've realised that in order to get the platinum I am going to need to start from scratch as I missed something I cannot return to :(

Was at 439 panels solved, +85, +1.

Oh well, at least I should be a little quicker this time around lol :D
 
Never mind platinum for me, I can hardly get all the lasers up, the quarry boat house with the saw mills has got me well and truly stumped, then I caved in and did a Google search. Even then I didn't get that puzzle I was stuck on....

It's a great game, but the puzzles really do get very tricky in places. Had to go buy graph paper lol
 
Can anyone help with this. I have 7 lasers but one of them isn't shooting off into the horizon. Is this 'normal' as in I need to do something or is it a glitch?

If it's normal I'll go have a gander in the area and see if i can find what i missed.

Off laser hunting I go then. Or blindly following the lasers path would be a more accurate description. I'm assuming that it needs 'refracting' then. Hey ho, 268 +15 so far probably many more hours of my life to go.
 
Ugh... finally worked out a puzzle I've been stuck on for a while, it sometimes pays to go back to basics and double check you have the rules correct lol. I am still stuck on the final laser for me which I just cannot see the final solution for, I just know it's going to be a D'oh! moment too lol.

Which zone are you in?

I just seen an article for a speed run that isn't so speedy because of one of the puzzles you have to 'endure'.
 
I wish, it's what I assume to be the forth most common trophy, the laser in the autumn woods to the left of the main keep entrance, pretty sure I can see the clue for the pattern too I just can't correlate it lmao!!!
 
Grr, I just got this game in the sale. Some of the puzzles are just mind boggling. I've gotten myself into an area with a red lake across a moveable bridge but I can't seem to move the bridge back to try a different area as I can't solve the puzzle to open the gate to continue.

EDIT: NM. Just did it.

I'm really stuck this time. Literally.

If any of you know the swamp area, I drained all the tunnels and reached the central island with all the mesh fencing. However, I just did a puzzle situated below me and the platform dropped down leaving me trapped. Any ideas what to do?

I have to say my patience with the game is wearing thin after playing most of the day and I hate myself for it but I'm just going round with the IGN guide for each panel now.

EDIT: And now I've just read in the guide you have to solve this puzzle multiple ways. FFS. This game just isn't logical at all. My brain is frazzled as I would never have thought to do that. I feel like I need to smash the disc in pieces if there was one.
