Cheapest single day car insurance?

Peoples,

In short, bad things have happened so I can't use my car tomorrow, I have since realised I don't think my insurance policy (Hastings essential) covers me to drive another car....

I need to be driving another vehicle tomorrow morning, is anyone aware of cheap one day car insurance? I.e something cheaper than £35?

so broke at the moment its unreal so £35 is a lot to me

What time tomorrow morning? Their customer services are open from 8am and they might give you temporary cover on another car. Direct Line did it for me.

Sadly I start work at 8am,so I'd be leaving at 7:20 odd

You say you don't think... Surely you have access to your policy documents? Why not check them?

Because I can't find the wording?

The only thing I can find is 'use of other vehicles' which I believe is deferring to 'do you have access to any other vehicles' I.e am I insured on any other vehicles.

As for puic transport, no not really, is so indirect from here

The policy should state "use of other cars" or similar - does it mention anything about Third Party only?

Most policies will show "insured to drive - " with the details of your car. If it says something like "and any car loaned to the policy holder" then you're covered. If it just lists your car, you're only insured to drive your car.
