Kanye went from the acclaimed little rap fella who did what the establishment wanted, to an antiestablishment rapper who could do what he like, say what he liked as he had 'made it'.
He was rich, he was successful he had fame, he had made good in a fixed white guy game.

He's only just realised that now to have 'made it' you have to be a billionaire, not a millionaire.

Thus he wants his billion.
