**** The Official Google Nexus 6P Thread ****

yes, lots of lag issues like is said. even the samsungs ive owned, most of the bloatware has been google. it seems google is the new samsung. stock android is quickly getting worse, the devices are still having the build quality issues while samsung are very quickly improving it's software and design build is always top of the range.

You seem to have a bit of a strange agenda going on here...

.... I also don't like the slippy back. My note 4 is perfect for holding, super grippy back and semi sharp edges plus it's a little thinner and lighter too. Nothing makes me want to return to Samsung though.

This was a bugbear I had with it too, and as someone who NEVER puts a case on any of my phones usually, it's quite ironic that the first thing I did with the N6P was to get a Spigen slim fitting case for it...and this after coming back from the dark side where I tried the iPhone 6 for a couple of months....for which I also had to get a case, because with both phones, I felt they were like bars of soap and it was only gonna be a matter of time before they would be slipping out of my hand.

I also found them difficult to quickly & easily pick up them up off worksurfaces, desks etc. as they're so thin.

The slim case puts almost zip extra on the weight/size, but just makes it grippier and easier to pick up now.

Exact same thing here. I still have my Note4, though I've given it to my parents, I still maintain the device. Everytime I pick the thing up I am hit by how good it feels in the hand. It feels better to use but I don't know how.

My 6P has been in a Rugged Armour case mostly since purchase as it did feel too slippery and I too had issues picking the bugger up. Still enjoying the 6P experience though and zero usage issues since launch.

Make that three of us... Gave my Note 4 to my mum...still look at it with envy... Much easier to handle and with better battery and a brighter screen... The 6P has the better camera, and generally better software performance... But it doesn't feel unique or particularly special like I felt about the note 4....

I see where your coming from but the Note 4 camera is just as good if not better the N6p.

Note4's camera in daylight is superb, much like the 6P, though it exhibits very aggressive sharpening when zoomed in. The lowlight performance sucks though, well it did on mine. Video camera in all aspects blows away the 6P, which is the latter's weakness.

Agreed...i should have been a bit clearer... The 6P indoors or in low light is superior... in good light its about even...and video the Note 4 blows the doors off the 6P

My photos have taken up 22gb of storage, is there a way to set it to back up the images and only keep lower resolution images on the phone to save storage?
