Managed to get a few hours in when it was closed beta and thought it was pretty solid. Played last night through all of the main missions plus side ones until I realised it had become 3am :).

I'm now thoroughly looking forward to this come full release (although haven't ventured to the Dark Zone during this portion of the beta, which I know will be a gank fest given my luck xD )

If possible can OP add me to list - Uplay is JayT051.

Done :)

Had a great game again last night.... Have to work all day today and then out tonight so wont get back on until Sunday :( :(

I'll say it again - The game is a LOT better when playing co-op vs solo and its also better again with voice comms :)

Fired it up earlier, sad to see they've wiped closed beta progress off. Had a quick look and not too much changed since closed so not bothering with it this weekend, shall just wait for launch.

Does this have comms built in or will you need to use something like TeamSpeak?

It has in built chat but I noticed it seemed really quiet compared to Skype, so I stayed in a Skype group. I'm not 100% sure of how the in game chat works but sometimes I could hear other groups talking while I was in close proximity.

I imagine if you want a tactical advantage you will use out of game chat if in a group.

Also be careful extracting gear, some people like to act all friendly and literally shoot you in the back to take your items lol...

Need a little help.

Doing the Water Supply side mission, searched the whole area and found one item I can interact with and press the "F" button. Then continued pressing for the next half hour, the needle on the gauge goes up, I grip the wheel, needle goes down, that's it. Anyone done this?

Found out why, no enemies spawned.

Solved.

For Sweetfx go to this link https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/5087/

Click on http://goo.gl/1aAWB0 and download for Reshade+Sweetfx.

Also download the preset config at the bottom of the page just above the screenshots.

Unpack the files from the reshade download and copy all of them to The Division main directory (where the .exe for game is). Not all of them are required but its just easier.

Rename the reshade64.dll to dxgi.dll

copy the K-Putt preset you downloaded to the Sweetfx folder that's now in The Division directory. There is a default Sweetfx config in there already, delete that one, and rename the new K_putt Sweetfx config to "SweetFX_settings.txt"

When the game launches if you done it right, top left on the loading screen you should see bunch of writing about Reshade loading successfully...press Scroll Lock or Pause Break in game to enable and disable the effect

I don't really understand what I'm to do in the DZ

Anyone fill me in?

all the better weapons and equipment are found in the DZ. There are different zones in the DZ which have a level linked to them, as you go deeper the enemy NPC get stronger and stronger. It's also a PvP area so expect to get in a ton of firefights with other squads as you will all be trying to extract the higher level gear. The loot in the DZ is contaminated, you have to get said loot back to the extraction point for the heli to lift the gear out of the zone for you, that high level gear will go back to your main base of operations for you then to equip on your character. If you see any enemy player with a yellow bag attached to their backpack, they are carrying contaminated loot so if you feel brave you can attack and take their loot. This then makes you go rogue though and every other player in your vicinity will be able to spot you and will more than likely be after you. They get big points if they kill you as rogue, if you survive the rogue status which is on a timer, then you also get points. If you keep killing as a rogue, then there will eventually be a manhunt placed on you, where the whole server can see you and be after you. It's great fun by the way ;)

I've actually found this surprisingly fun!

I haven't followed any of the hype or press releases, not watched any gameplay footage, nothing, just downloaded the beta on a whim.

It looks polished, plays pretty well, storyline seems good. My only worry is the longevity of the whole game, not sure if its going to be very samey after a short while.

As im not planning to play the open beta a friend has told me something im not sure if he is explaining correct.

The last time i played in the closed beta your dark zone level dictated what level dark zone group you are placed into. ( or i remember it being that way ) he is saying now that your PvE level is the level that decides what level darkzone group you get put into.

Can anyone confirm please.

The squad system in PVP - if I go online with a mate as a 2-man army so to speak, are we only in 'our' squad or do we get put with other randoms? How many human players can there be at one time?
