Really loving the way it looks and plays! Me and a couple of friends had a good blast earlier

SLi still poor though, 45-50fps on top settings but Gsync is helping to smooth it out and feels pretty good. Looking forward to release and 70-80fps! :)

Just turn off the SLI,and you gonna see the same numbers... SLI seems work, but not scaling at all... :(

Again as i said above ubisoft don't support sli or crossfire during betas. Even if Nvidia have released a profile for it, that does not mean it will be working. It just means it has a profile ready for launch. The exact same thing went on with the crew and other ubisoft beta titles.

Well having gotten up at stupid early o'clock I fired up The Division beta, Really impressed and hooked within minutes of getting into the action and had a proper good time.

It has a really deserted "The Last of Us", "I am Legend" and "Escape From New York" type feeling.

When I got into the "Dark Zone" I bumped into 3 x Russians all chatting away right next to me on open mic, Didn't have a clue what they were saying but that's a pretty neat little feature.

Definitely picking this up when I get the funds :)

Anyone else play the closed beta and are now getting much lower fps?

In the closed beta with everything at high I was averaging about 45-55fps, rarely it would dip down below 40. Now in the open beta it's basically never gone above 40 on high, I get more comparable fps now on low...

It's also jerking around a lot.

?!?!??!?!?!!?!?!?!?

Also I don't know if I'm just imagining this but it didn't seem to look as good either.

I found that and it loaded in fullscreen(windowed) and was jerky when looking around, putting it on proper fullscreen seemed to sort that.

Anyone else seeing NPCs popping in right in front of you?

Had it a few times at the landmarks :/

I've not seen that but the graffiti on the walls will vanish if you move along it in places. I'll take a screen shot today.

Anyone about today then, I'm on the hunt to earn the £7k I need for the DZ.

How is everyone setting up their characters then? One of my group made his weapons do as much damage as possible and would always hang back a little with a marksmans rifle while I opted to go for as much health as possible, nearly 7k now. Also noticed you need certain values for stamina/firepower/electronics to activate certain perks on guns, very nice touch and really makes you consider the items you equip.

Initially I have had a lot of crashes but that is down to my new pc which is getting sent back on monday. 30+ critical windows crashes bluescreens and corrupted files anyone? Anyhow so far I have spent about 1hr 30 and the game runs butter smooth on Ultra, the graphics are very good and I am surprised by people saying 'graphica are crap I'm not buying it'. As people have mentioned the bad guys are samely but that could change. So far I'm enjoying the game and I will be getting it when it releases. Oh and as for Ubisoft game launcher it works fine I don't get all the hate towards it.

Thanks for the info, missed it first time around :)

Just in case it was missed

I'm trying to figure out whether I should be a jack of all trades or a master of none. Normally in games I play the healer role but a few things sway me away from it.

1) Double tapping Q to self heal doesn't always work, it brings up the heal gun instead which is disastrous when in the middle of a fire fight.
2) Healing other players with the gun is literally hit and miss. If they move whilst you aim at them then it's wasted.

I might go for tanker. This is a good video explaining it for all those who don't know how the system works.

Getting some long pauses and that's despite running off an SSD, was not getting that with the closed beta. was smooth as silk then. Apart from that its decent. Mobs are a bit harder to kill. Not been to the DZ yet.

Hoping the lag spikes or pauses are just teething for the new beta release.

Yep, getting the exact same as you - and it's irritating as ****. It's like time stops, then it goes quickly for a second to "catch up".
I've tried Fullscreen, Windowed, Fullscreen Windowed, Ultra, High, Med, Low.. setting CPU priority to High, rebooting, closing everything else... Just... nothing works >.<

Firearms and Stamina for me, ALL DAY LONG. I've no trouble dropping the electronics attribute, I look at that as a distraction to the fight skill. All about DPS and the ability to stay in the fight.
