Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows (I believe we have a Corsair rep on these forums?) if the CoolerMaster, Antec or Silverstone AIO coolers will work with the Corsair HG10?
I believe it's all to do with the mounting mechanism, but I don't know how to tell if any of them are compatible.

Thanks.

The Antec ones would work if they are the Asetek versions, but the rest won't. HG10 works with any currently available Asetek or CoolIT design.

I believe AceModder said that the Antec H600 and H1200 were both Asetek, so if that's the case they should work?
(Antec wouldn't change OEM during the lifetime of a product would they?)

Very tempted by a couple of these for my 980s.

I wrote off my 980TI by trying to fit an HG10 980 and Antec H1200. The mounting points all align OK and you can probably get away with it if you're careful, but it is very easy to do it wrong and end up with nothing.

That's worrying. Was it because of the H1200 or the HG10?
Did you have the newest revision of the HG10?

The HG10 came direct from Corsair about 2 weeks ago, so it certainly should be the newer revision of it.

The problem (as far as I can tell) is that the AIO attaches to the HG10 on top of the board rather than fixing to the card itself, so tighting up the mounting screws even lightly just pushes the cooler against the card. At best it's hard to get good even contact, and at worst it pushes and bends the board.

As I say, someone less clumsy might have better results than me. It's a fresh wound right now, not a happy subject!
