Apparently theres a few hints in the last episode, the walking dead writers like to throw in some tiny little scenes. Sometimes they are foreshadowing sometimes they are just to keep people guessing.

Anyway again dont read if you dont want speculation

At the start scene where Daryl kills the bikers with the rocket launcher theres a few frames where you can see a vehicle driving into the background. This could have been a production error, or could it be Negans men seeing the incident?

Also theres speculation that Daryl getting injured in the back specifically on the wing on his jacket is foreshadowing of him having his wings clipped, prior to his death?

For me personally i love this level of detail they throw into the series, some of it is red herring material for sure to throw people onto the wront scent, time will tell

That really deep deep analysis  they do keep putting things in to throw comics fans. So expect the unexpected.

There's a bit of speculation gathering at the moment that it may be (again don't click the spoiler if you don't want the speculation)

Morgan who is killed by Negan as opposed to Glen or Daryl. Though it is hard to believe any speculation based on what Lincoln and Cohan were quoted as saying about how they felt filming the final episode. Could speculate all day but no doubt the last episode will be brutal.

There was the same speculation last year that a big character presumed Daryl was going. There was all that crap about them struggling to film the final episode and it was a tear jerker.

Been there before.

Lol, Glen what you made of son? Teflon? How did Carol loose his eye? it was like Rick turned round and his eye was gone?

Maybe they kill Rick... (or the baby, or both...)

Average episode this week I would say. Interesting new character in Jesus perhaps though.

yeah he's a bit weird though - tis a bit annoying how he suddenly appears on top of the van or suddenly appears in rick's room...

should have just shot him when he stole from them the first time :p

Rick has never been one of my fav's. I'd be very happy if they moved on from him and Carl. Plenty of other differences from the comic with people that are still living in the comic at this time point that died early in the series.

I love the show, every series but think Rick holds it back now.

I'm not sure there would be a show without Rick. Not because he's awesome but I can't see anyone else in the show taking the leading role and having the same on screen effect as Rick does. He's central to all the other characters arcs and if he wasn't in it I think it would be like watching Fear TWD.

Don't disagree that he holds it back a little but I just can't see TWD post-Rick carrying the same audience figures.

Jesus can literally teleport. Stupid episode is stupid, I hate it when the writing doesn't make sense. Surely any normal person would just take the van straight back.

Yeah Jesus the teleporting ninja was weird...no doubt it'll go unexplained. That poor supply truck though :(

yup but... well it isn't like them to do stupid things

if they did sensible stuff then a lot more of their group would still be alive to begin with (and they couldn't drag it out for so many seasons)

I appreciate they wanted to inject some much needed humour into proceedings, it's been relentlessly grim for so long now. But teleporting 'Jesus' was a step too far. I get that he's meant to be slippery, but they tied him up, albeit loosely, Rick checks on him in the mirror and 7 seconds later they drive off at speed. Next we know he's on the roof. WTF. Lazy writing is lazy writing.

well the first instance they admittedly tied him up loosely with the intent that he'd be able to free himself after they'd gone

but the second time was taking the mickey a bit - they'd intended to tie him up securely and somehow he frees himself, works out exactly which house and bedroom Rick is in and manages to do so undetected by anyone else

I decided not to carry on watching after the break but thought I'd pop in to see if I'd missed anything. From what I've read of the restart of the season, I'm not missing anything interesting enough to drag me back so that makes it an easy decision. Farewell TWD. Hurray, I've finally learned my lesson after LOST.
