I paid no attention to stats which I should have as mine were very low compared to others. I just wanted high end weapons and perks which ended up being rubbish to some of the blues I had.

Yeah seems you can cheat like the old trainers used to just by editing keys in memory. Only one I couldn't work out was the shooting through walls one. Couldn't find the relevant key for that. Assume it's a bit more complex to do this one than a simple edit.
Although apparantly the beta was an old build so may not be this bad in final game. Although I'm going to wait and see as I'm sceptical but as pointed out its a different part of ubi creating this game so fingers crossed.

According to Ubisoft they are going to sort it out when launch hits, they said the following.
"We are aware of the cheating issues in the closed beta on PC. The team is fully committed to providing solutions against this and a system will be in place to ensure a fair experience for players when the game is released on March 8."
One thing i will say is when i play the closed beta i come across a few hackers in the Open beta i didn't see a single person and i put more time in the Open beta than i did the closed.

Me and 2 friends plumped for the Gold Edition yesterday based on how good the Beta was alone!! Cannot wait

Should be quite a few keys for sale on the MM once more people buy up graphics cards.
I'm in. Only played several hours of the Open Beta but it was enough to convince me it will be worth the investment.
I had a strange issue where I couldn't interact with anything - the F key on my keyboard or the X key when I used the controller didn't work. The on-screen prompt would light up indicating it registered the keystroke but nothing happened (anyone think of a reason why?). I thought it may be because I had a controller plugged in at the same time as trying to use the keyboard, but I thought of this after the Beta was complete so couldn't test the theory.
Anyway, because of this issue I couldn't activate any of the storyline missions so wandered the neighbourhood just having a look around and seeing what trouble I could get into. Found plenty to do, got into a lot of firefights and generally enjoyed the shooting and cover dynamics (for example I liked the way the M4 climbed with the longer bursts).
It played well on my system, looked great and I'm looking forward to the 8th March.
