I think bang for buck at this end of the budget has to be second hand AMD really.

Budget nVIDIA card for about £50 - which one?

While this seems to be the case, all the ones I've seen that are 50 or less are the 7700 series or a 6850.
Right now if I thought there was any point I could get a 6850 for £35, but it's only 1gb and worse than the 750 in benches.
I recon if the op can find a 270 or the 7850 version for 50-60 they will be his best option.
