Hey folks, I have bought a Raijintech Themis Evo cooler. Included in the box are these two pieces of wire spring. They are not mentioned in the instructions. Can anyone tell me what they are and how they fit?

Brought this myself, they are fan clamps. I was also confused.

If you look on their site and the updated manual you can download and it shows them

Hmm. I did the research, and I came to the conclusion that this was a very good deal. Very much bangs for buck..... But: (And I am sorry, because I really wanted to love it).. a) One of the screws was cross-threaded, and could not be used. I had to either bodge or return it. (I bodged; luckily, a friend was nearby with a nearly same-size screw.) b) On an AMD CPU this cooler can ONLY drive upwards, ie towards the top of the case. As I say, I did some research, and there is nowhere saying this. (and I wanted to love it) c) Having fitted it, I can't put the side of my case on. And my case is not tiny. In all; a reluctant 2/10. (It seems to be cooling reasonably well). ps it is acceptably quiet, and it works.

A) Not the first time I have heard of quality control issues on their coolers. I have found that the fins are extremely flimsy as well.

B) Just looking on Google shows images of the cooler mounted on various boards including AMD boards and a quick look at the mounting bracket shows that it's clear that it will only fit in one direction. You can't blame a cooler for you not doing any research before buying.

C) This is also your own fault for not checking clearances before buying. You can't blame the cooler for that.

Quite so, and I agree 100% (95% ish).
