Ill be ordering one of these monitors at the weekend but i just dont know which one to choose. Ive googled both and looked at pros and cons. Itl be used for gaming only. does anybody have any experience with both monitors? any help please.

The performance is extremely similar. It's worth considering which you prefer the look of and whether you need that extra HDMI port on the Dell. Dell also has their excellent warranty support in their favour. One thing I personally prefer about the Dell is the simplicity of its style - and the fact the stand is not as deep, so I can push the screen further back against the wall. I found the ASUS too 'in your face'.
 
Well ive just put the order in for the dell for Saturday delivery. It was the simple looks of the dell that won it for me. Thanks guys.

'G-SYNC V2' isn't really an official thing. It's just a way of manufacturers saying that the monitors also feature additional ports that won't use G-SYNC (like HDMI). So if you want to refer to G-SYNC in versions, the ASUS has 'V1'. But the G-SYNC performance is no difference at all to 'V2'.

Well i received the dell this morning. Its amazing, I cant fault it. Been playing battlefront most of the day and its so smooth and looks brill. Well worth the money and thanks to overclockers for the fast delivery.
