The Division. Are we interested?

The price has been steadily rising as it's gained popularity, cdkeys has it for £32 for the base game and £54.99 for the gold version. I would imagine we'll see keys from GPUs cheaper on MM when they start appearing.

A beta is much different from a full launch, especially for games like this that require constant server connections.

I have faith in Massive though; they have pretty good PC pedigree and have their own server infrastructure, I'm hoping it'll scale to accommodate the usual launch day traffic.

Of course it's different, but with a beta that set a new record for number of players - 6.4m - 2m more than Destiny - under their belt, it's a decent bet that the servers should be upto launch day.

Anyone know if we could patch the beta for launch, or if it has to be a fresh install? still on slow mo adsl so a 14Gb patch would be much better than 40Gb dl.

It was reasonably fun to play and had decent graphics. It looks like it will get boring quickly once the main missions are over though. Will buy when it hits 15 quid or so.

Spoke to uPlay store, they refunded my pre-order, issued me with a replacement 20% code so I could change to the gold edition :) muchos happy.

How did you speak to them, as I am missing my 20% discount (clicked it and it never arrived) and I'd like to upgrade from a grey key to gold!

Went via their support page, gave my order number and explained what I wanted to do.

Initially they just gave a cookie cutter "sorry you want to cancel" response, and cancelled my pre-order, but a follow up request for a replacement 20% code they sent a new one within a few hours.

Me also, got it from cdkeys in the end. If you qualify for the Ubi 20% off in the Ubi Store then that is currently the best deal I can see. Didn't quite qualify for it myself.

still running a risk though. an unnecessary one in my opinion.

hope it releases smooth and is in good knick.

I'll purchase if so.

You're not wrong.

That said, my expectations are quite low. If it comes out with essentially the same gameplay but they've finished the single player bit to provide 10ish hours of entertainment it's not so bad.

I paid a tenner to see Zoolander 2 the other day. It can't be worse value for money than that.
