EK Predator, Questions...

Can someone confirm, that these are maintenance free ?

Also, if I want to add a GPU Predator water block later, would the 240 work ok, as I am not sure if I can fit the 360 in my case.

Thanks...

From what i've read, they are yes. Just like any other AIO. I don't think you can get the Quick disconnect on the 240 can you? I thought it was only the 360 that had it.

Yeah, since the 1.1 revision, they now do the 240 version with QDC fittings as well.

I will get the 360 if I can fit it in, but if I can't, do you think the 240 will cool a 5820K @ 4.2, and a Strix 980Ti adequately ?

Edit :

Well thinking about it, what would be the point of the 240 version having the QDC fittings in the first place, if it
can't cool a graphics card as well as the cpu ?

Well I contacted Ek, asking if the 240 version would be sufficient enough to cool a [email protected] and a 980TI Strix.

And they said, it would be sufficient, and sent me this graph with test results for a [email protected] and a TitanX.

What do you guys think about these results ?

Thanks.

I have the 360 version and the gpu block. 5820 clocked to 4.6 @ 1.25 vcore and a inno3d 980ti.

Got these running on an Dell u3415w and temps never go above 50 degs.

Although the EK stuff is quite pricey, they are exceptionally well made in my opinion.

I'm sure it will, just on the basis it's a 360 rad in comparison with a 240.

The reason I bought it was for the QDC for the graphic card block. At the time the 240 QDC wasn't available.

EDIT - with these AIO's the pump and res are on the end so there is the extra size to take into consideration. I have the 360 in a Fractal Design Define S so there is plenty of room.
