Is been fat really the answer?

Just seen this on a Channel 5 programme, a quite large lady practically bed bound has a husband who is the dedicated carer, they get £1500 in Benefits and I presume don't pay a penny for the House and Council Tax.

Now what got me is the Woman is milking it, the Husband does everything Cooks, makes drinks goes out shopping etc etc.... While she is in bed and games most of the day and sleep, they have 2 Xbox ones, large screen TVs, Sky, Laptops. The benefit system is substituting there lifestyle, this to me is wrong.

Should people over a certain weight virtually not able to live a life be stuck in bed gaining weight and weight???

The bloke seems 100% genuine and I deeply feel sorry for him.

Should they be treated in a mental institution after all it HAS to be mental, this is just one woman but there must be 100,000s living like this.

Arggggghh I don't know the point of this.

Just be thankful you are not like that and take pity on them.

I would rather be healthy and work for a living than be a fat slob, sit around watching TV and playing Xbox all day, whilst being supported by the government.

I think what it also proves, is that you can be the fattest, laziest, most horrific human being on the planet - but as long as you're female you need never be alone

A chronicly obese bloke on the other hand, unable to leave his bed, would be on his own

And if they made a programme about the NHS being sold off, people's contracts being ripped up before their eyes and re written and the cover up of paedophilia in government and other large institutions you probably wouldn't watch it because benefits rage.

benefits should be handed out in food & utility vouchers...so they cant buy so many high price luxuries

Should be giving them free gym memberships/nutritional advice etc to help solve the problem rather than just funding their current lifestyle. Cut their other benefits if it's their own fault they're too fat to work and show no signs of trying to get better.

Yes let's give a morbidly obese individual a payment that they can only use for even more food.

Let's not worry about the stigma either eh. Do you know how embarrassing it would be to pay in shops with a benefit debit card. Jesus!

Been proved time and time again this doesn't work and just creates a black market to exchange items purchasable via such a system with items that can't and increases crime.
