53 Plate Fiesta - Dropped Window.

Hi all,
As above, the drives window has dropped a good few inches.
Anyone any experience with repairing? Is a new regulator kit needed (£50) or will a regulator repair kit(£10) do the job?

I'm yet to to take the door card off to have a look.

I imagine the cable has snapped, just get another regulator & swap them over.

My car window wouldn't shut properly when I got it (would open, then act all funny on the close). The fix was to just recalibrate it so it knows the fully open and closed positions.

Was something like holding the switch open all the way down for a few seconds, and similar in the close. May be a simple fix?
