Android to Android - Number transfer

As per title guys...... Ie just wasted 2 hours of my life googling and trying various ones with no luck, they are only transferring half my phone book (including the inbuilt google one)

What should I download?

Exactly which phones are they? Depending on the manufacturer some will have an option to export your contacts as a vcf file.

Are you not just using the normal contacts app, in which case your contacts should just be synced to your Google account?

It seems to miss out half my contacts, any idea why?

Indeed - just sync them to your Google account and they should download automatically.

Check your list of contacts in your web browser on your PC at contacts.google.com or whatever it is, are they all there?

Did it on my S4 and then on my Ultra 6..... still missing contacts!

Cheers, I did this and can see half my contacts not there. Any idea why?

I did it old school with a vcf file. All good now

Just for reference, it's worth checking some of the "missing" contacts - would imagine they are set to either Sim only, or Samsung contacts rather than Google contacts - hence why they aren't being synced.

Use this as a lesson. Spend an hour putting them all into Google Contacts at some point. Way easier.

Probably half of them were synced with Samsung contacts or something. My mum's phone always demands to use the Samsung account instead of the Google one :rolleyes:
