Anyone built any of these? Just got given two from my mates - the Apollo Lunar Lander and the Normandy SR2 from Mass Effect 2.

Took about 10 hours to do both; they're very detailed and fiddly!
Apologies for the poor photos. Struggled to get my Nexus 6P camera to focus properly, especially on the Normandy. They're not huge models; the Lunar Lander isn't much bigger than a golf ball!

Went and bought myself the Millennium Falcon and X Wing to go with them...

Our teenager has done a couple. A Model T Ford (because he's driven one) and a sailing ship. Brilliant they are!

I was tempted to pick up a couple last year but didn't pull the trigger in the end.
The Lunar Lander model looks really good, it'd work nicely with a small LED embedded in the underside.

They are quite fiddly and if you've never done anything like it before you will probably make the odd mistake, but they're not very hard to make. I have a lot of experience making airfix kits, RC planes and helis and skills in PC hardware etc, but I built these entirely using small nail clippers and tweezers. It just takes patience and if you take your time and check the instructions and images as you, it's very straight forward. It's really only a little more difficult than Mechano or the more advance Lego technic sets IMO.

I just went on the river site and bought 3 off the bat as well as a new set of high quality tweezers

Which ones you get? Best tip I can give is make sure they're VERY stiff tweezers, ones that allow you to put pressure on things even if you don't have your fingers right on the tips. It'll make twisting the tabs (green triangle connections) much easier in tight areas...

Millennium Falcon
Darth Vader Tie fighter
X-Wing

The tweezers I got are for jewelery work, so should be OK

I got 4 Star Wars ones for xmas but haven't had the time (or tweezer pliers) to do them yet.

I've done several of the Star Wars models, not a bad way to keep busy in the winter evenings rather than having to watch crud on TV.

EDIT: Only one I seem to have pics of
