I thought VW were losing money on every Veyron sold. Seems odd to bring out new models, unless they've managed to reduce production costs.![]()
Bugatti has never been a money making exercise for VW. It is about showing people what they can do.
I suspect they are losing money on each one of these as well.
look at how much of the Chiron is improving on technology they learnt first on the veyron.
The engine for example is just a further development of the same example. I imagine now that the R&D costs have been re-couped from the original, its probably not as loss making as people think. Plus I bet those limited run specials they made so many of earned a few pennies.
Has some similar elements to the NSX
If by similar you mean, goes fast, has four wheels.. not seeing it myself.
