Hello all,

Pretty much as the title suggests. Just bought a new R9 390 card and have very small but very annoying graphic glitches.( see pics )

Any ideas?

I have uninstalled all previous drivers and reinstalled the most up to date ones but hasn't helped. Not sure what else to try.

Any chance you could circle the glitches in paint plz? I dunno if its because hte image is downsized or something but im struggling to see them.

By "most up to date" do you mean the Crimson 15.12 drivers or the latest 16.2.1 hotfix?

These graphical artefacts like the compass on Fallout 4 and the blocky effect on the boat in the Witcher 3 were present in 15.12 but were fixed in subsequent hotfix releases.

Got it...

What sub-model is the 390? (E.g Gigabyte Windforce)

Any overclock at all, aside from factory overclock?

What are the rest of your specs?

Thanks now i see them. I would try the latest catalyst 15.11 i think instead of the last crimson, as some people had problems with the latter.
If thats not working, then try to lower the VRAM clock in MSI AB. If thats help you can RMA the card, because the memory can't run at stock speed, if it won't help you can RMA the card anyway.

I'm almost sure the older driver will fix it tho.

I haven't overclocked it atall,

It's an R9 390 Nitro Sapphire

Yes, it's the compass on the fallout 4 screenshot and the boat on the Witcher, also noticed little bits on XCOM2 as well.

I haven't used the hotfix i don't believe, i'll give that a shot when i get in.

I didn't have any of this until the new graphics card.

Rest of the hardware is:
Radeon R9 Nitro 390 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with Backplate (Just upgraded)

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor

Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

XFX 650W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) [KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX]

250GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive
