You've read the "launch time" which is when the servers are online. However no point opening the servers if your game won't unlock on Steam / Uplay because ...

-PC (Steam and uPlay): March 8th – 6:01CET

Xbox and PS4 unlock at 00:01 but PC not until 05:01 UK time, 06:01 European time some 5 hours later than PS4 / XB1

I can handle staying up late for a midnight launch, but my body and brain doesn't work too well when getting up that early.

Only an issue if you intended to stay up monday night and play at midnight.

It unlocks 5am Tuesday morning. So play any time Tuesday you want after you wake up. (unless your a milkman or something and get up at 4

)

Even through Steam it opens up uPlay AFAIK.

Still opens via uPlay though so sadly no way of avoiding it completley.

There was a thread in the MM where someone was selling steam wallet credit for a discount but sadly I'd already bought it.

I don't mind it opening up uPlay (I was in the beta), but still want to be able to control it via steam and bypass as much as I can

-Playstation 4: March 8th – 00:01AM Local Time (00:01 EST for US/CA)
*(Japan will be available March 10th 00:001AM)

-Xbox One: March 8th – 00:01AM Local Time (00:01 EST for US/CA)

-PC (Steam and uPlay): March 8th – 6:01CET (00:01 EST for US/CA)

Its there in black and white. 06:01 CET (central european time, IE 05:01 UK time) for PC.
