You get an email to activate I think, possibly when you receive the card. Someone else will confirm

With Rise of the Tomb Raider I was sent a Steam code via email. It arrived before the card. I think the Division is a steam game too, so I imagine it's exactly the same.
A couple of years back when I bought a 670, there were a couple of steam code scratchcards delivered in the box.

I got the code emailed to me immediately after funds were deducted from my card. (980M Asus RoG Gsync laptop).

The Division is a uPlay game. when you buy the card, the code is emailed to you.
You go to the Geforce website to redeem it. Then link your uPlay account. Then download uPlay to your pc. Then preload the game, when it's released, press play, enjoy!
