All,

I'm going to start stocking up on Eneloops as my Vapex are getting long in the tooth.

Anyone recommend a new charger - mainly AA, and AAA - but extra options would be useful.

Thanks

Maha MH-C9000 or POWEREX C808M if you want to charge more than 4 at a time.

I had the VC4 recently, returned it as the USB charging feature wasn't really all that, still needs mains for which the cheaper but equally exceptional Nitecore I4 v2 does the job just fine, but without the screen of course.

Maha MH-C9000 And Nitecore D4 here, the nitecore is a good charger that just charges and lacks all the fancy stuff of the c9000, i tend to use the nightcore more as it seems to charge the higher ah batts better

No way, I was just searching for this topic earlier. I ended up ordering an ANSMANN Powerline 4 Pro. Looks good for the money.

The Nitecore linked to by MRK has been labelled as a dangerous fake. Check the reviews.

I have a Maha MH-C800S Precision Charger.

I can't live without it, so much better than the standard charger and does 8 batteries at a time.

Ah probably worth getting from the uk official store then I guess.

I must admit you do need a beefy USB power supply for the VC4, but I've never tried the USB charging feature. I like knowing how much capacity my batteries have compared to their stated capacty - this also helps to let me know in advance if the batteries might be dying.

Another VC4 user, mainly because I needed one to start 18650s and 26650s anyway.

It replaced a Nitecore i2 that had horrible coil whine
