Seems more gang related if only one death

Gun attacks and even people running amok with AK47s isn't actually "that" unusual in Paris (relative to say London) - largely unrelated to Islamic terrorism though some of it is far eastern elements involved in gang warfare. Some of the videos on youtube etc. purporting to be the recent terrorist attacks showing automatic gunfire and explosions was actually from gang related stuff in 2011 IIRC.

A shooting happened in Paris and a newspaper reported it. What is it about that that has your knickers in a twist?

If anything the OP needs slapping for the DM like thread title and comment. If he'd actually read his link he'd see its a little different to the previous Paris situation.
Look into the newspaper's hypocrisy, history and low standards of journalism and that statement will start to look quite reasonable.
Fair enough they seem to be quick at reporting on this one but why does the article contain pretty much more information about actual terrorist attacks etc when the article says it has nothing to do with terrorism at all.
