This game is starting to cost me money. Looking at selling my 970 for a 980ti since at 2560x1440 it's stuttering and using a lot of vRAM.

Not sure why that's happening to you.

I'm on a 970 @ 1440p with no stuttering @ high preset. It must average around 45 fps outside. Good enough and looks good.

3440*1440 all day long ftw :-)
It takes my rig below to keep this games lows above 40FPS maxed (gsync helps massively) smooth as butter @ 100hz.

I feel sorry for any-one trying to run this on 4k. I doubt SLI TX's will keep it above 35FPS average which is where you start to feel slow downs even with GSync

What level are you Josh? i think i'm 9 at the moment and mainly been playing solo.

PlenTV is my uplay let me know if you get bored later on tonight/weekend.

Will do bud, think I'm 5.

I'm low bobbing Josh, only played for about 3 hours so far.

Who? Only TT I know likes to dress up as women, we don't talk about him though...

What time will you and Josh be on at Tony?

7ish - maybe before - till late tonight.

Well I caved and bought it as I don't have much else to play. The atmosphere is great as well as the soundtrack, very John Carpenter.
I can't see this lasting me that long but on the whole it's an ok game.

You know it makes sense :D

Im also enjoying my experience of matchmaking groups, only real issue ive come across is a lot of people with open mic on all the time so i can just hear them coughing, jabbering to the other half or talking random (insert eastern european/russian) language.

Dont seem to be levelling particularly fast either which seems nice as i was expecting to hit cap quickly

Hit 30 last night, tried challenging, they are not wrong on that description!

You really do need four people to do challenging. Daily last night was the Russian Consulate mission; started with four of us - myself and a mate and two randoms from matchmaking. Four swiftly became three when one left as we weren't progressing very far - read as he kept getting one-shotted by all mobs. I do a fairly decent amount of damage from my AK (122k) and AUG (101k) and my M44 does 100k headshots with 220-300k crits. The down side to high damage is I have mediocre stamina and relatively poor skill power - but that's complimented by the fact that my mate is a lot more balanced and has a huge amount of skill power. The two randoms were absolutely terrible. Suffice to say when it got down to just me and my mate we were starting to struggle and after a couple of hours decided to give up. Shall give it another crack today though!

*edit*

Should probably add my Uplay as I'm always up for grouping for Dark Zone and dailies! Bonnoh ingame/uplay.

Its great to see this game is breaking records because it so deserves it !
I can't remember the last time I played a game you can just log in too and join a random group of people so easy and voice chat with them :) and go off and do missions together, The AI in this game is dam smart as well , you don;t see that much but the AI in this game scares me , they sprint at you and shotgun you too the face , its scary stuff but fantastic , I can't praise the game enough and I hope its around for a long time too come and they don't nurf too much as other games have done in the past.

just went in to the DZ for the first time.

got to level 10 and got a few items out, managed to kill a rogue agent too!

My team mate shot someone and we went rogue and couldn't drop out of it. had to extract our items while rogue which wasnt fun.

Might be worth checking MM for a 980ti or possibly drop some settings and wait for the new releases coming soonTM :P

Not enough posts for MM... yet. I get VAT off anyways so it's looking to be ~£450 for a 980ti, already secured £150 (discount warehouse prices) for my 970. So all in it's only £300 for a 980ti, I can live with that :)

Go hard or go home :D Yeah the amount of people with open mics is weird, only come across 2 people that had to use the chat in game though. Still haven't figured out how to do that.

Yup, I'm finding that I'm mainly fluctuating between 45-55fps with a few none essentials turned down on the XB BUT I've just plugged the X34 back in and it's alllllllllllllll gravy ;) :D

I love playing it on the x34, one game that actually makes use of the superwide well even the UI will move out without much hassle at all.

Though I'm tempted to get another 980ti for sli and see if that boosts performance.

Just plugged the X34 back in and it's absolutely fantasic, I love it (and I get the boost in fps to boot!!)

It really is the superior panel for gaming, which has me torn tbh!! The XB is a great all-rounder and stellar for TV eps, but the X34 wins out for gaming and movies :D

I might mothball the XB for a bit, and try it again in a month or 2 (or when the new Titans come out ;))

I've noticed that the community seems pretty alright actually. I've done a couple of missions on hard with randoms and they have been pretty nice towards one another and there wasn't any toxicity.

I sat with a guy last night and we got ruined, constantly. Until we figured out some npc had run off to near the start of the mission and had to go hunt him down, which then caused everything to respawn ontop of us. I must have died about 15 times! But, even though we both had epic crappy moments, we both played on and had little "moments" where we would let each other press a button / interact with something.

Everything was very fun, and i have noticed everyone i've pub'ed with, the teamwork and cover / help / revivals are spot on. As if I were playing with my group of mates. No one has gone stupid or got angry etc.

It was only to test, 3 of us just hit 30, had 2 minutes left to start the daily so went for it.

60k damage, 50k health and my team mates had less, but was good to know it really was a challenge.

I'm on uplay as dsxy-
