Best burger in New York

So after an eight hour flight into New York I have an urge for a quality burger - so can the burger eaters of OCUK recommend somewhere.

I'm stopping at the citizenM hotel near time square so hopefully somewhere not a million miles from there.

The best burger I've had in New York City was from Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridien. From memory it's about a 15 minute walk from Times Square.

What's the hotel like? I've used the Citizen M at Schiphol Airport a few times and was really pleasantly surprised at just how good it was.

The hotel is excellent - quick to check in, clean and secure and the rooms full of tech.

The room is controlled via a iPad mini which works great.

Probably in the times I've stopped in New York this has to be the best hotel I've stopped in

That sounds very similar to the Citizen M at Schiphol then. Had it got the shower and toilet in weird pod things in the bedroom?

I remembered another good burger place - Counter Burger on 41st & Broadway. It's not quite as good as Burger Joint but there's oodles of choice.

When i was in NYC I went to the spotted pig and had one of the best burgers there.

The best burger I had in NYC was at a little cafe type place in JFK airport, was tastey pinky awesomness!

I was going to suggest this place also, great burger with loads of really skinny fries. lovely!

I second the Burger Joint too... Cheap and delicious but it gets very busy so choose you time well....
