I'm back baby!
I currently have an E220 and have been very happy with it. I'm swaying between keeping that or getting a personal lease and getting something a bit 'younger' for want of a better term.

I'm not against a personal lease if it's a good deal.

I'm going to be doing lots of motorway miles so want something that can do that with ease like the Merc, but I don't mind something with a bit of poke or is a bit of fun too, if that exists!

I like having gadgets, the Merc is well specced as standard and that's why I chose it last time out. Willing to look at anything you lot might think a better car/deal :)

Why? You're 35.

Lexus IS has just turned up on my last 3 variable searches. Is there a reason I shouldn't order it?

Looking at "LEXUS IS SALOON 300h Sport 4dr CVT Auto 2015"

Why? You're 35.

Because the last 7 years saw me drive a Passat estate and an E Class, whilst I enjoyed them both I went too old too soon :(

I think the A6 looks smart in S line trim, it does the 'barge' function quite well.

How about a Jag XF R Sport?

The IS - good though it is - isn't as good as a C-class or 3-series and is from a class below the E-class you are used to. I think you would find it poor in comparison. The GS might be a better shout but is getting on a bit now.

My money would go on the new Jaguar XF

Currently looking at changing my company car as well - moving from a BMW F30 330d which has been fine over 3 years apart from the terrible seats. BMW are no longer on our car list so thinking the new B9 A4 looks a potential option.

Could be worth looking at that as well as it is larger than the C class and 3 series.

I don't have access to a Jag on the company lease deals :( shame as I do fancy one

Thanks for the comment on the Lexus. It might end up being another E in the end :)

Dont forget there is a new E class out now, if the inside is as good as the C class then it will be an excellent place to waft about in, but it will still be an old mans motor.

Hm, are you sure? I thought it must be out later this year as it's not available to order from the lease company yet. What was the release date?
I love my C350e and it's 280 BHP combined with it's ultra low BiK taxation as a company car :)

Full of gadgets as well.

Can't go that high. I'm assuming the CO2 emissions are well over 150?

How does that result in a low BIK though?

CLA250 AMG Coupe?
CLA45 AMG if you want some real poke ;)

Yeah, not getting a proper AMG on the company package :)

Plug-in hybrids quote ridiculously low CO2 emissions though giving a reduction in BIK. I read something concerning this and the new XC90 and these models definitely make sense. C350e for example "makes only 49g/km CO2".

The Co2 emissions are well under 100, plug in hybrids use electric drive for much of the EU tests and therefore have incredibly low emissions and thus very very low company car tax.

Ahh, I see :)

Doesn't appear that plug-in hybrids are available for selection. Shame, I got excited then :)

New E Class doesn't launch until May, and given that we've changed supplier since I ordered my last one I can't see there being any option to extend the lease.

Big shame that, because there aren't even any discounts offered for the older revisions. The new E class looks ace.
