Who Negan killed in the season finale?

I think if you take Season 1 to now Carol's character has had the best journey of all of them. I think she is more pivotal to the story now than Glenn, Daryl, Coral or basically anybody but Rick.

Agreed. And how many times has she saved them? Terminus, the wolves attack, last night. Plus probably loads of minor times I'm forgetting.

A feeling? The smoking woman said exactly that in the episode

Yep, then the guy at the end said he was "Neegan" before he got shot. Do you really think you can trust exactly what the characters say from this group?

Plus (Casting Spoiler):
Someone has apparently been cast as the iconic character Negan: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/walking-dead-negan-jeffrey-dean-836243

Now all that's left to speculate is whether he is just the leader and not necessarily called Neegan by name.

So carry on being confused, because I am thinking that is the point.

Regarding that casting spoiler for a future episode:

He is the "real" Negan, on IMDB he is listed for episode 16, the finale so no doubt we are going to be left with a massive cliffhanger, there has even been photos of him on set:

Well considering they have them dead to rights it makes little to no difference if they tell them the truth or not.

The dialogue at the end was:

"was Negen in that building last night or is he here?" "both, i'm Negen ****head.

So its up in the air as to whats currently going on.

Further more the older woman laughed when asked about Negan, she replied with 'We are all negan'. Suggesting that Negan is infact a collective rather than an individual.

Quite a clever move really for protecting yourself. Could end up like whack a mole trying to find him.

Going back an episode, I distinctly remember Carol saying to Maggie 'It wasn't meant to be you'. No idea what that was about, was it just someone else should have stayed watch or did she mean something else? Could be thinking too much into this but it seemed odd.

Solid episode this week, i really think their main ploy at the moment is to make these episodes blur the line between Rick's group being the good guys or the bad guys. I mean if you look at the saviours perspective this is a totally new group who has just come along unprovoked and started slaughtering them.

Even for Ricks group going and trying to take out a group who has so far been little threat to Alexandria is a step beyone their normal kill to survive mentality.

Pretty sure the next few episodes are gonna see some major deaths, you can just tell its all been too easy so far and Ricks group are gonna assume they have taken the head off the saviours.

Also

Just watched the 2 sneak peeks from the next episode, looks like it will be a cracker.

Ill put this in spopiler tags but its just the official AMC preview text for the next episode

Season 6, Episode 14
Twice as Far

Two different groups leave Alexandria on supply runs. While both are concerned with the future of the community, immediate danger will derail them.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make here.

To be honest I don't really care.

ah still a love hate thing with this show, another episode that was pretty damn awesome.... until right at the end. WTF was Rick thinking killing that guy, like another load of that group came from somewhere, perhaps they have another camp etc.. you'd at least question/interrogate him before killing him.

that doesn't conflict with what the woman said earlier re: them all being 'Negen' - if they're all Negen then that guy was Negen

No, I agree with dowie. It doesn't contradict. She said they all are. He said he was, which fits with them all being Negen. Granted, Rick wouldn't have heard this, so he thinks he's actually killed Negen, but the two saviours don't contradict each other.

I think people are reading waaaaaaay too much into things.

Negan will be the boss man in charge of these people, they probably all identify as Negan to unknowns for the spook factor and keeping the identity of the leader to unknowns, well, unknown.

I don't think the Hilltop people would have not told them, oh by the way they are all Negan.
