US: Black Sails - STARZ's new original series, with pirates!

Always wanted to get into this but it always looked a little low budget and the acting didn't look particularly good.

Might have to give it a blast though as there's not much else on at the moment.
 
Just binged through this on Amazon Prime.

Pretty damn good, 1st season has a lot of characters to introduce and a bit slow in places, for the first few episodes wasn't entirely convinced by some of the wavering accents and dialogue. But it soon settles down and season 2 has been brilliant.

Fantastic ending, Jan 2016 seems a long way off, up there among my favorite US series at the mo.
 
Looking forward to this. Season 1 seemed to not capitalise on much of the potential and was very slow. Season 2 however was fantastic.
 
Really enjoying this series, bit of a fanboy I guess, havent seen this weeks yet, but its not disappointed so far. The turn of events with Teach and Vane taking the initiative in episode 4 was brilliant
