DX12 Gears Of War Ultimate Editon now out

No matter how you look at it, the PC market is getting stronger.

Pick a game that released on only the Xboxone and released at the same time as Fallout 4. Even with the PC sales combined the game never sold great. Consoles have only just became Legal to buy in China so will be interesting to see how that turns out. I doubt it will go well for the Consoles as a lot of games are also banned due to content.

PC gaming is getting stronger yea but big budget games are seeing less love from Devs on the PC end of story. It's not hard to grasp that the PC market is getting stronger due to the growing Chinese and Indian markets. Well over 2 billion people live in these regions. If they start to play the big budget AAA games on PC Devs will take notice but atm they play a lot of free to play games in internet cafe's.

Calm down, I only asked.

I am calm was just pointing you in the right direction. It helps to read threads before posting instead of singling out one post. I myself have done this and it just never turns out well lol.

Console is more profitable than PC on AAA gaming titles, profit dictates the lead system in AAA titles and it certainly isn't the PC...

Nvidia themselves stated PS4 has a larger target audience than PC on a VR piece, that the PC is lagging behind on PS4 gaming equivalent performance and it's their job to increase market penetration.

The newer BM threads have hardly any entries because of Denuvo, what does that tell you.:p

I get what you're saying, but I didn't dodge it, I just never seen it. Anyway, lets more on.

NVidia Dogs can **** higher up a wall than AMD Cats ?

Do I need to start a bench thread for this ?

I hate to think what I would put down for settings.

It looks like someones training a winner

A remaster that releases at nearly half full price? Damn... somebody at MS must be smoking something powerful, it's not like a big company to price something reasonably at all. Now if it weren't Win10 store exclusive and lacking split-screen multiplayer (Rocket League and Black Ops 3 have splitscreen on PC), I'd actually buy it. Well done on that pricing MS, give that guy a raise. And some more stuff to smoke XD

True that! i'm a massive Halo fan. If that did happen and they put all the halo games on the store i would buy in a heartbeat. At the moment nothing is tickling my fancy. Maybe Forza Motorsport.

I'd agree, except MCC was terrible. It barely worked online and people lost progress due to connectivity issues. I remember hearing one instance of some folks being almost at the end of a level on Legendary after spending hours on it and the game D/Cs and they have to start the whole level over. A real shame, because the concept of MCC was great: Halo 1-4 in a single package.

I guess MS learnt their lesson from Halo Anniversary, that game didn't even have it's own multiplayer and launched essentially at full price. I still hate that they never put in the effort to actually update the game with weapons. Fuel Rod guns, Energy Swords and Wraiths actually existed in the Halo 1 campaign, except the players never got to use them till Halo 2. That laziness on their part was disappointing to me as a fan of Halo.

I'll admit, I'm no longer a fan of Halo or GoW. Mainly because I just don't care anymore. Gears of War 3 wrapped things up perfectly. No loose ends. End of story. Thus to me it was the last Gears game. Halo 4 was fun while it lasted, but I never played it as much as previous titles. And Halo 5 is just terrible IMO, no split-screen, shoddy misadvertised campaign and micro-transactions in a full-priced AAA release. Nobody can argue 'you don't have to buy them.' Tell that to the few million $ profit MS made from just MTs during the first few weeks of Halo 5's release.

Because of stuff like that, I refunded my MGS5 pre-order (has MTs) and no longer plan to buy Bravely Second (also has MTs). It makes me sad what has happened to video games in modern times. But the pricing of this remaster is just a small beacon of hope. Only time will tell if it will extinguish or burn brighter.

While MT's can be a pain, I look at it like this-

I paid £60 for Street fighter 2 in the early nineties. I can now buy a ps4/xb1/pc game for £40 on release if I shop about, more than 20 years later. Games cost a lot more now and if this keeps the price down then that's fine and if I like it a lot I will pay the extra.

They patched the game. Benchmark posted couple pages back.

I'll go look for it thanks.

Having said that it's not worth me getting it even if it does work because Microsoft won't let me choose where it is installed and I do not want or have the room for GOW and then also Quantum Break on my SSD boot drive.

It's crazy considering how nowadays people tend to have a smaller SSD for the OS and programs and a HDD or two for games.

Anyone by chance been able to record ingame footage yet ?

I finally got the game as I love GOW but Shadowplay refuses to work with it and even Mirillis doesn't work properly.

Also tried Windows 10 DVR and it's god awful quality wise.
