I find with rich tea biscuits that you often need to stack two of them when dipping into a hot drink for added structural integrity.I once dunked a ginger nut biscuit in my coffee - it was glorious.
Immediately afterwards I went for a somewhat thinner rich tea and unfortunately assumed a similar dunking time period which caused said rich tea to fall into my coffee and ruin my life.
Let this be a lesson to you all.
