Is Division game DX12?

Worldwide bud :)

Awesome mate! Left a comment below the video on the site as I don't have a YouTube account. I came across your site recently and will pop in more, you've got a good thing going.

Let's be honest if Ubisoft had released another "Watchdogs" then they would never have sold another game....ever!!

Glad everyone is enjoying it. What does everyone think of the content of the game so far? Is it enough to keep it going for quite a while or is everyone getting through it quite quickly?

The Division seems like a lot of fun, even for single player types such as myself.

^ we have watch dogs 2 to look forward to this year ;p

Thanks for the nice comment:)

What's your setup? I've not experienced this at all.

I get the same experience as Dicehunter on some parts of the street. My FPS is usually between 50-60 and then i will get to a certain part that drops the fps down to high 30s low 40's. 99% of the time my fps is fine but there are certain parts that look no different that tank my fps a little. I run the high preset with some settings up at Ultra. Loving this game atm and it looks and runs great for the most part.

Liked and subscribed Greg! Not sure why i haven't subbed before. Left a comment too! This game is quite addictive but being playing solo for the most part. Feel like DZ requires some teamplay is being solo you get picked off quite easily and its harder when solo.

Use the matchmaking terminal it's supposed to work well. I have not tried it as I play with 3 others so always have 4. The game is much better played with team mates.

His drops to single digits, that's not the same. Mine is like yours, but that perfectly fine. It's usually atmospheric stuff I find.

Thanks bud. I will be on in a bit (gotta walk the dogs first and if you fancy teaming up with a Lvl 17) add me on Uplay (GregsterReviews).

I got owned in the DZ when I was there though :D

Yea i certainly never reach anywhere near single figures. He's running a pretty high end system with a 980ti i believe so this should not be happening to him. It's most likely a driver problem or a system problem as i don't think this is a game side issue. As far as Ubi games go this runs better than just about any of the latest games i have played of there's.

How does the snowdrop engine respond to GPU overclocks? I found that the Dunia engine (far cry) hates them, anvil next (assassin's creed) is good. I have my card at 1388/3739 for the former but at 1457/3906 for the latter, which does not work for the former.

I run at over 1400 core on my 980Ti, perfectly fine, no glitches or anything but that's my normal overclock. I'll push it nearer my bench clocks and see what happens.

What does it take to run this game at 1440p with 60-60+ FPS with very high / ultra settings? Saw a piece on it on digital foundry today where a Ti could manage this only with console equivalent settings (mostly medium), and I thought to myself, that can't be right!

Nah, turn off Supersampling AA, Advanced Shadow PCSS tech, HBAO+, or slap some ultra settings for weather to high from Ultra and you're cooking.

Those add very minimal improvements but mangle performance; HBAO+ is only a 4-5fps drop though; unlike the others.

I assume that includes not using the hybrid shadow thingy, kinda new by Nvidia for during the daytime?

Can't wait to get this game, seems really immersing! And playing with graphic settings is all part of the fun of being on a PC.
