The Division. Are we interested?

Does anyone have any suggested sites to look into for gfx set up. I have an R9 390 and haven't really touched any of the gfx settings so I want to up them but I know some will kill my fps

Living this at the moment. Only level 12. Been taking it slow. Doing each side missons and all encounters in eac area and when it comes to main missions normally group up and do it on hard.

Actually don't mind wipe-ing now and then on boss encounters. Really pleasantly suprised how much synergy and tools each player can bring the table with the right build.

Running AoE first aid and turret ( will go flamethrower when I have enough points for some CC) for groups and single first aid for single.

Got a DMR and an M4 at the moment. Recommend a sniper for those opening headshots.

How does the friend system work?

Is anybody using an i7 3770k with this? I think my i5 2500k is really struggling. Cores are fully maxed 24/7 even on low! GPU utilisation drops as well because of the bottle neck. Just wondering if this made use of hyperthreading? My board supports ivy bridge so just wondering if it was worth the switch.

Cheers

From what i've seen it just seems to be the 2500k struggling like I mentioned yesterday. If you can get a 3770k cheap then i'd do so, it really was annoying on my one before i upgraded. It must be the coding or something as the 2500k can play all modern games with a decent GPU but its maxed out a lot in this game which makes it unplayable at times.

Beta i sat between 95-100% constantly while playing even on low, plenty of others on reddit and their official forums had the same problem. Had enough as i knew i'd be playing a lot and wanted a new rig for streaming etc so went with a x99 setup and been happy ever since.

It's weird how it looks like the CPU is bottlenecking the system, when it most definitely shouldn't be that way.

Angry Joe gave it a mediocre 5/10, he swears a lot so you will have to YouTube it yourself.

So yet another poor score on The Division from a reviewer..its definitely getting poor scores, however here in this thread gamers seem to be loving it. Most certainly a rather big disparity between the reviewers and the people playing.

I'm running it on a 2500k clocked to 4.6 ghz and it hasn't bottlenecked my 980ti. And that's pretty much maxed out at 1440p.

A lot of the big reviewers keep bringing up the bullet sponging saying it shouldn't be in a game like this. It's one of the main bugbears, i don't mind it at all and have grown to like it.

This game is effectively a third person fps with rpg elements that behaves like a Diablo game for loot grinding. It's a pretty unique game in the sense it's in a real setting and behaves like a Borderlands game for the most part.

gonna be doin some DZ farming from about 8pm tonight if any1 is interested add Sharpy010 on uplay. Will have 2 spots in group

They had the same comnplaints with destiny and it had a load of people who enjoyed it despite the reviews. The expansion actually was great also.

I enjoy the game but i also understand the vreviewers gripes, its the same with any big release now, they attract negativity automatically now in some quarters. As with most game releases you learn more reading these threads from people actually putting hours into the game

I can see from their point of view about it being repetitive and that there is not much mission variety but playing it with a good team and the banter it entails is what makes it so fun for me.

For you guys who did the Russian mission it is hard on challanging . the first time me and a group did it we had to restart because it bugged out at the end and wouldn't let us continue :(

same nexus crafted 3 and got good talents love the vector... rocking 120k DPS now with about 35% dmg to elites and around 150% scav..

went rogue a few times cause this guy nicked juicys gear.... ****ing NPCs raped us when rogue 3-4 times and lost 2 ranks :( lol
