Coincidence that this happens days after the Paris gunman is captured?

RIP to all those who have lost their lives, these attacks need to be stopped but how on earth is that going to happen with so many are spread out across Europe.

Indeed, seems possible that the timing is related.

Sad news indeed, though also sadly almost not shocking any more :/

The shock on these things is getting less and less which is scary and worrying in equal measures.

RIP to those who have lost their lives.

RIP to all those that lost their lives, sad state of affairs now.

I guess we will soon see loads of pray for Belgium meme's but how ironic that not one single person have a toss about the recent attacks in Ankara??

How hypocritical has this world has become, media has done a superb job on making Muslims look like the bad guys:(

How in gods name would this work without slowing the airport to a crawl and forcing people to stand outside in the rain / cold.

Worked at belfast airport for thirty years.
Works in jakarta now, a very busy airport, soon as you enter the door, you Re security screened, with further screening later.
Wouldn't slow anything, just displaces the queue.
No entry to building without valid ticket, you just construct new entrances, safer for the departure hall than taking someones picture twice before they board a flight.

This sort of thing is just going to become more common in Europe. Unfortunately until education improves people will carry on clinging onto ridiculous fundamentalist beliefs.

#‎prayforankara‬ and #‎prayforturkey have been trending on Facebook and Twitter since the 15th of March.

How sad is it that people are more concerned about the right wing and how we are responsible for thie, rather than how Islamic extremists are responsible.

The problem is Islamisist ideology, not the right wing, racism or any nonsense like that.

It didn't work at Karachi airport either, you end up stood outside the airport in a large group of people waiting to get inside, so all that would happen is instead of people being blown up inside the airport they would die outside.

As i said it adds nothing, regardless of the area you are security screened you still end up with a large group of people in which a minimum of 10 could die.

RIP to all that have been killed. Really dont know what to say. Its so that its no shock these days to hear of such things! Very sad and depressing indeed.

Turkey is not a neighbouring country with historic, cultural and political ties.

Lots of people trying to ignore the fact this is Islamist Extremists again and mods even deleting posts mentioning this. What will it take to get people to pull their heads out of the sand?

My condolences to all those involved in this tragedy. As I get older I feel increasingly impotent as to what we can do to change things.

Sad day for all.
