rip to those dead.

looks like the isis problem is not going away any time soon.
i don't know how it will end but its going to be bloody on both sides :(

Its easy to sink into that blame culture of accusing Islam as a whole, but this is the work of a bunch of crazed evil cultists, not an entire religion, we must remember that!

rip to all the innocent people killed. If god does exist (personally I don't believe he/she/it does), I've no doubt those responsible will burn for this pure evil!

No one is saying that though?

What people are saying is that there is a group called ISIS who happen to practise islamic religon who have caused this attack

In the airport in Manila Philippines, You cannot enter the airport without all your luggages being checked/scanned through the X-Ray.

A pain in the backside but this would have prevented todays events happening and i can see this now being implemented on all airports now where you wont be able to enter without all your bags being checked etc.

As has already been mentioned several times, what happens to the people waiting to have their luggage checked?

Has Russia, being very directly involved with the fight against ISIS et all, suffered any terrorist attacks on their homeland? If not, why not, and can we learn from them?

because it doesnt have a large migrant muslim minority where idiots who carry on these attacks breed.

Russia has ethinc muslim population but they are indingenous.

Because they don't **** about, I imagine if they were attacked they would retaliate with heavy force.

At what point do we start to realise we are at war, and start to act accordingly?

At war with who? What do you want us to do, carpet bomb downtown Brussels until we flush out all the terrorists?

The events of today, and every other attack that's happened, are a complete tragedy but we can't just react by declaring another pointless war :(

Indeed.

I'm going on Holiday to a Muslim area of Thailand soon (Krabi), there's no issues there

10 known Syrian ISIS members got into Thailand at the end of last year with the intention to attack beach resorts, they have yet to be located.

British Govt. advice at the moment is that Thailand is at a high risk of terrorism.

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/thailand/terrorism

There is a high threat from terrorism. Bomb and grenade attacks have been indiscriminate, including in places visited by expatriates and foreign travellers. There have been attacks in the past in the main cities of Thailand, including in Bangkok in 2015 and 2012, in Koh Samui in 2015, and in Chiang Mai in 2010.

You can say that about lots of ideologies. Not all conservatives support cuts to disability payments for example. But you won't get people being overly sensitive when conservatives in general are criticised.

On the other hand if a 'god' is involved in the ideology/beliefs then the potential for butt hurt is immense.

Would the governments and the public stomach ethnic profiling at airports, stations etcetera? If you asked someone from outer space how one might help minimise the chances of another similar attack occurring they may find such a thing a rational approach.

No doubt it is already happening, unofficially security people will obviously concentrate more on the activities of Arabic looking people than a blonde haired woman with alabaster skin. Should or could this approach be formalised?
