I bought a 980 ti hybrid before 7/3/16 which was faulty and the retailer sent me a knew one on 9/3/16 which I have an invoice for.
Am I eligible for the cash back?
Does cutting off the serial number label from the box (for the photo with the invoice) affect the warranty?

I look forward to etailers leaving new prices on their cards with a little disclaimer

*price after evga cashback

Gets my back up that does, and is just made to make their cards look cheaper.

Think most people would prefer a £20-30 default reduction on card cost than going through all this hoopla to get £40 back. I don't understand the need for this if companies are willing to end up selling for less anyway. Anyone know?

Because some people forget and some people just don't bother which makes it cheaper for the companies to do it this way.
